Who are we? The Company
AccountingWizard Solutions provides bookkeeping and accounting services
to
entrepreneurs, micro-, small- and medium-sized business in the northern
Greater Toronto Area (anywhere north of the 401) and throughout York
Region (Vaughan, Thornhill, Richmond Hill, Markham).
We provide the crucial “back office” bookkeeping support that liberates
entrepreneurs from paperwork allowing them to concentrate on growing
their business and servicing their clients. We’re dedicated, professional
and highly skilled. We love what we do, and we do it well.
Who are we? The Principal
Lawrence Fox, CMA, is the principal of AccountingWizard Solutions.
Lawrence
has a B.Comm and is a Certified Management Accountant with nearly 25
years experience with small businesses and entrepreneurs. He says “I love
entrepreneurs. The decision loop is small,
and
entrepreneurs are excited about what they do. And that gets me excited”.
Lawrence is not your typical, dull, boring, gray accountant. “If I was”,
he
says, “I’d be working for a typical, dull, boring, gray accounting firm,
instead
of working for myself and working with the people that I do.” He added,
“Going to work for myself was one of the best decisions I ever made”. He
understands what drives his fellow entrepreneurs and the issues that
they
face on a daily basis. When he's not busy wielding his magic wand to
liberate entrepreneurs, he attempts to make magic with a watercolour brush;
sometimes he succeeds.
Lawrence is a member of the Richmond Hill Chamber of Commerce, the
Markham Board of Trade and the
Richmond Hill Group of Artists. He is the Vice-President Finance of the
Association
of Independent Consultants (AIC).(If you’d like to be his guest at any

manager for
the Accountants Who Lunch, a group of accountants who meet every other
month for lunch and some peer-to-peer professional networking.
He is married with one child and lives in Thornhill, Ontario.
